Kasama sa nabasa ang Committee Report 261 na isinumite ng Committee on Justice para sa House Resolution 989 na may titulong: Resolution Setting Forth the Articles of Impeachment Against Vice President Sara Z. Duterte recommending its adoption together with the findings, conclusion and recommendations of the committee.
Ini-refer ni House Deputy Speaker at La Union Rep. Paulo Ortega V, ang presiding officer ng sesyon, ang committee report sa Committee on Rules.
Ang Rules committee ang magpapadala ng kopya ng resolusyon at report sa mga partido at lahat ng miyembro ng Kamara bago itakda ang deliberasyon nito sa plenaryo.
Samantala, halos 200 kongresista na umano ang nagpahayag ng suporta sa impeachment complaint laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, ayon kay House Committee on Public Accounts chairperson at Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon.
Sa isang panayam nitong Martes, natanong si Ridon kaugnay ng pahayag ni Duterte na kumukuwestiyon sa mga kongresista na alam na umano na siya ay mai-impeach.
“Tiyak ho kami kasi tiyak ho kami sa ebidensiya. Tiyak ho kami sa P6.7 billion total transactions na pumasok po at lumabas sa mga accounts po ng mag-asawang Duterte,” diin ni Ridon.
