Social media sensation Mimiyuuuh has come a long way since she started her YouTube channel in February 2019.

In 2020, the 24-year-old content creator was able to fulfill one of her biggest dreams: to buy her parents a new home.

This year, Mimiyuuuh is focused on achieving another dream: to launch her own clothing brand.

"My goal this year is to have my own clothing line," Mimiyuuuh told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview via e-mail on Friday, January 22, 2021.

She added, "I don’t want to pressure myself. I will try my best! Hihi"

Aside from being a content creator and social media influencer, Mimiyuuuh is also a budding fashion designer.

She graduated from De La Salle-College Of Saint Benilde with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. She also worked for Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner as an intern before she decided to pursue vlogging full time.

It won't be the first time that the vlogger has attempted to create her own clothing brand.

In July 2017, Mimiyuuuh created "FANGS," which she described in the brand's Instagram account as a "contemporary street style brand that empowers women through unconventional and rugged clothing."

However, she did not tell PEP.ph whether she is planning to revamp this clothing brand or create an entirely new brand.

But it seems she has already started working on new designs.

In her vlog dated January 16, 2021, PEP.ph spotted a sewing machine inside Mimiyuuuh's bedroom.

Mimiyuuuh may be taking her time in achieving her next goal, but she knows how important it is to do the things you love. This was one of the biggest lessons she learned during the pandemic.

She said in her vlog, "Parang nung 2020... sobrang I just realized na hindi natin alam iyong mangyayari bukas might as well... Life is short so do the things that make you happy.

"No one can make you happy, aside from yourself. It's your responsibility to make yourself happy."

But Mimiyuuuh makes sure to strike a balance between spontaneity and stability.

She told PEP.ph, "I live for spontaneous moments but, at the same time, the things I do spontaneously will lead me to stability. You know what I’m saying? So yeah opo!"
