INARESTO ng National Bureau of Investigation sa Central Visayas ang isang empleyado ng Cebu Cory Hall dahil sa extortion sa mga tindera sa palengke nitong Biyernes.
Kinilala ang suspek na si Karla Marie Bargamento na nagsisilbing administrative aide III at siyang in charge sa operasyon ng Carbon Freedom Park Market.
Sa report, ang suspek ay humihingi umano ng P100,000 sa bawat tindero kapalit ng pagkuha nila ng puwesto sa redeveloped Carbon Market.
Nakuhanan pa ng NBI ng video ang pangingikil umano nito.
“Bargamento has facilitated and continues to facilitate the issuance of the Certificate of Award which gives stall rights and the right of occupancy to the would-be displaced vendors in exchange for the exorbitant fee,” pahayag ng NBI Central Visayas.
Nilinaw naman ng korporasyong Megawide na walang reservation fees sa mga stall. (Kiko Cueto)
