BBM nilusaw PCOO, Press Secretary pinalit

Binuwag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos ang Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) at pinalitan ito ng Office of the Press Secretary.

Pamumunuan ng Press Secretary ang OPS at magkakaroon ng Assistant Secretary at Undersecretaries at support staff.
Ang PCOO ay nabuo sa pamamagitan ng Executive Order No.4, series of 2010.

Batay sa Executive Order No. 2 na pirmado ng Pangulo, binuwag din nito ang Office of the Presidential Spokesman at lahat ng permanenteng personnel, equipment at functions at ililipat sa OPS.

“It is the policy of the Administration to provide true, accurate and relevant information through effective utilization of communications operations of the Office of the President,” anang EO No. 2.
