COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr announced last month that he will be seeking the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2026.
Last week, he made a quick stop in Columbus and sat down with WRBL for this week's Sunday conversation, a weekly interview with newsmakers on the local and state level.
Carr talked about why he announced his run for the governor's mansion nearly two years from the election. He also talked about the work his office is doing statewide and here in Columbus to combat criminal street gangs.
