COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A recently-upgraded museum in Columbus is receiving national attention by USA Today.
The Columbus Museum has been deemed the "Best New Museum for 2025" in USA Today's 10Best series. The rankings are determined by vote.
"We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without the overwhelming support of our visitors, members, and neighbors," the Columbus Museum shared in a news release. "Your votes made it possible for us to stand out among the 16 remarkable museums nominated from across the country, and we’re so proud to represent Columbus, Georgia, on this national stage."
The museum says since re-opening, over 60,000 guests have come through their doors.
“USA Today’s 10Best award is a testament to the passion and dedication of our community,” said
Museum Director Marianne Richter. “It highlights the incredible work happening here in Columbus, and we’re honored to share this moment with everyone who believes in our mission of bringing American art and history to life.”
