Storm damage reports across Columbus and beyond, power outages, trees down and more

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — WRBL's First Alert Storm Team is tracking severe weather across the Chattahoochee Valley. Here is a live list of reported damage from the storms.

Impassable Roads:

  • Veterans Parkway and 10th Street near the Columbus Civic Center.
  • Warren Williams Homes' roads are unpassable.

Trees down:

  • Manchester Expressway between U.S. 80 and County Line Road.
  • Bever Run Road
  • Double Churches Road
  • Line Road
  • Psalmond Road and Psalmond Court have multiple trees down.

Powerlines down:

  • Matthews Elementary
  • Psalmond Road

Flooding:

  • Flooding has been reported near Synovus Park in Downtown Columbus.
  • Lakebottom Park is experiencing severe flooding.
  • Weems Road near the animal hospital and Texaco gas station.

Power outages:

Georgia Power is reporting a large amount of power outages in the Columbus area. The power company is reporting almost 1,600 people are without power in Muscogee County.

Below is a list of some of the largest power outages:

  • More than 1,000 people are without power along Manchester Expressway in Midland.
  • 62 people are without power along Warmsprings Road.
  • 241 people are without power near Primrose Road.
  • Georgia Power does not have an estimated restoration time.
  • 419 people are without power in the Pine Mountain area along Hugley Road.
