Harry Roque, misis, 1 pa diniin ng BIR sa P3.35M tax evasion

Nagsampa ng kasong kriminal ang Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) sa Department of Justice laban kay Atty. Herminio “Harry” Roque Jr., sa kanyang asawa na si Mylah Reyes Roque, at Percival Ortega kaugnay ng umano’y paglabag sa buwis ng Biancham Holdings and Trading Inc.

Batay sa imbestigasyon, hindi umano naghain ng tax returns at nagbayad ng tamang buwis sa paglilipat ng shares at pagtaas ng capital stock ang mga akusado.

Tinatayang lampas P3.35 milyon ang kakulangang buwis, kasama na ang penalties at interes.

Kinasuhan sila ng tax evasion at failure to file returns sa ilalim ng National Internal Revenue Code.

Ayon sa BIR, tuloy-tuloy ang paghahabol nila sa mga tax evader sa ilalim ng kanilang Run After Tax Evaders program, at pananagutin ang sinumang lalabag sa batas sa buwis. (Prince Golez)
