COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Muscogee County Coroner's Office has confirmed human remains were found on the banks of the shoreline by the Riverwalk on Wednesday afternoon.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan tells WRBL a lower jaw bone and four teeth were found in that area of 22nd St. and First Ave. Bryan also says the remains appear to belong to a juvenile.
The remains are being sent to the GBI.
